xAkiRose

Hey guys!

I have changed my cosplay name! After much self-debate, and a past experience that gave me a nip at Katsucon, I have changed my cosplay name to AkiRose (xAkiRose on dA due to name already being used). I identify with this name a lot more than Chibi-Nekos (which was suppose to be a collaborative page) due to a lot of old friends first knowing me as Aki and then Rose for the character that a lot of people identify me as (Lightning).

I hope you all enjoy the change as well! Though, I know it will be a bit of a headache at first. I apologize!

PS: Katsucon is over, and I've received tons of photos, so stay turned for those! <3

Holy crap, it's been over a year since I've updated you all and for that I AM SO SORRY! But thank you for sticking around! Just recently this page hit over 30,000 views and I'm so blow away by it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I want to give a brief update for you all, to let you know I am still here and cosplaying and such! I still have some Yuna photos coming back from April, just waiting on those to be finished up. There is also Katsucon coming up, so prepare for new cosplays and things like that! I have remade my Elsa cosplay completely, so I will definitely be getting photos of that at Katsu. I also am making Weiss from RWBY and Lightning's Equilibrium outfit from Lightning Returns, so stay tuned for those!

Other than cosplay life, I have just recently finished my Associate's Degree, so I'm moving on to bigger things soon. I will probably be moving back to Florida in the next year too, so my life is on one crazy ride right now, I just need to hang on for the ride. I also turn 21 in a few weeks, AAAHHHH!

Anyway, that's really all I have to say for this update. I know it's small, but please bear with me! More photos will be coming soon, especially when Katsucon is here. So stay tuned for those!

I'm so sorry for not updating you guys, journal wise, since before Otakon! Life has been so busy and crazy with school and life things that I haven't gotten the chance to stop and thank everyone. I have grown in watchers since Otakon and have has soooo many favorites that I just haven't been able to keep up with and properly thank everyone one of you for your support. So this is the part where I stop and thank each and every one of you!

I'm so grateful to have all of you enjoy my work and, most importantly, all of the photographers who help me and do all of the work on my photos. It's beyond words how much you guys enjoy what I do and how I am able to show you guys. So thank you!!

So with this small update, I will let you know that my next convention is Katsucon 2014 and that will be quickly followed by Indianapolis Comic Con 2014. For Katsucon I plan to have Yin from Darker Than Black and Elsa from Frozen. For ICC I plan to have Tauriel from The Hobbit ready for action with my friend as Thranduil. I will not be able to complete my Bard from Final Fantasy XIV in such a short amount of time, so I will be working on that after ICC and hope to debut it with my next round of cosplays. I'm so excited for what's to come, and hope that you guys are too! More photos from Otakon and another shoot will be coming periodically, so look out for those.
